Madison Street

Tennessee’s first LEED Platinum rated homes, Madison Street is an infill residential development in Chattanooga’s Southside. The project is rooted in the principles of sustainability, from site and material selection to building orientation and energy efficiency. From a design perspective, the homes present a modern interpretation of the vernacular residential and industrial heritage of the neighborhood. Madison Street was awarded the 2008 Green Development of the Year Award from the TN chapter of the American Planning Association, the Award of Excellence for infill development from the Regional Planning Agency, and was named one of America’s Top Ten Best Green Built Neighborhoods by Natural Home Magazine.
